Lora has been teaching yoga since 2012. She came to the practice when her daughter was still a baby. At that time Lora was worn out from stress and struggled finding joy and inspiration. It took her five years of buying yoga magazines, reading them from cover to cover, to finally step onto the mat. It was within seconds of being at her first class that she felt a peace and safety, a visceral sense of being at home. Her passion for yoga is what inspires her to teach. She loves seeing how it has healed and transformed individuals. Her work continues to evolve and is informed by many of the great yoga traditions. She is at once contemporary, while also rooted in the wisdom of timeless teachings. She makes the teachings accessible and understandable to everyone. Lora tells her students, “Be your own best teacher, and be your own best student! Use the power of your mind to heal and to empower yourself! With each mindful breath, claim your birthright of wisdom, strength, and light!”
