This piece stands 13 feet high and is composed of individual pieces of paper. The separate pieces are joined together creating the larger sculpture. The interaction between the sculpture & light is part of the piece.

Aldo Leopold is one of my favorite writers. I had these clay sculptures in an Aldo Leopold show.
The clay stones were made first and then covered with individual paper scrolls.
There is nothing more delicious than line, the repetition creating movement and beauty.
